The process
Seven stages, all online, all on your time. Buying a website normally runs on the agency’s calendar — this runs on yours, and you know the price before you start.
Open the six finished websites and click through them — the menus, the service pages, the buttons. Pick the one that suits your business. If you would rather we chose, skip it: we will suggest one and tell you why.
Takes: as long as you want. Nothing is built until you have seen the plan.
One short form. What you do, where you work, your services, your opening hours, and how you want customers getting hold of you — phone, an enquiry form, a quote request, or a combination.
Takes: five to seven minutes. It saves as you go, so you can stop and come back.
Photographs of your own work make more difference than anything else on the page. We tell you exactly what to shoot on your phone and you send them with the form.
Takes: about ten minutes on a job. If you have none, say so and we will work around it.
Layout, pages, words and photographs, put together properly — about seven days from when your form and photos land with us, often less. No chasing us for updates and nothing for you to do while it happens.
You do: nothing. We come back to you when there is something to look at.
We hand the whole thing over for you to check before anybody else sees it. Read it on your phone, show it to someone, take your time.
Included: one round of changes. Tell us what to fix and we fix it.
If you already own one, tell us the address and we point it at your new site — no charge and nothing for you to set up. If you don't, we will suggest a couple, check they are free, and register the one you pick in your name.
Charged separately: about $30 a year for a .co.nz, charged at cost and registered in your name. You get the login.
We publish it and hand over the logins. From that moment the website is yours to run: photos, prices, hours and contact details are all yours to change. We walk you through it first and there is a short guide you can keep.
Then: $19.99 a month for hosting, nightly backups and the area where you edit your own site. Nothing else from us.
