Yours to keep

It’s actually yours.

Plenty of website companies keep the keys and charge you to change a phone number. This is the short page explaining why that is not how this works.

Your website

The site is yours outright from the day it goes live. You get the logins, you can change anything on it, and you can take it elsewhere whenever you like.

Your domain

Registered in your name, not ours, and charged at cost — about $30 a year for a .co.nz, charged at cost and registered in your name. You get the login. If you already own one, nothing about it changes and there is no charge.

Your logins

No permission needed and no waiting on us. We walk you through the editing area before handover and there is a short guide you can keep.

Your content

The words and the photographs are yours. If you leave, we hand them over rather than holding them hostage.

The editing area

Things you change yourself

Included in the $19.99 a month. Most of it takes a minute or two, on your phone, without ringing anybody.

Swap in photos from your latest job2 min
Change any text on any page1 min
Add or remove a service3 min
Update prices and callout rates1 min
Change your phone, email or areas covered1 min
Update hours, or put up a holiday notice1 min

If you leave

Cancel any time. You keep the lot.

What stops

The $19.99 a month, and with it the hosting, the nightly backups and the editing area. There is no minimum term, no exit fee and nothing to give notice on.

What you keep

The domain, because it was registered in your name. Your words and your photographs, which we export and hand over. You are free to point the domain at whatever you build next.

Any of this unclear? Email hello@sortedco.nz and a person will answer, usually the same working day.
